Steps to Reproduce
- Go to: https://tasks.openstreetmap.us and sign up as a new user.
- Action:
- Signed up today as a new user.
- Received the email verification link and clicked on it immediately.
- The page loads and displays the message "Verification failed."
- Expected Behavior: The email should be successfully verified, allowing me to proceed with the onboarding workflow.
- Observed Behavior: The verification fails consistently, displaying "Verification failed" after clicking the link.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken
- Resent Verification Email: Tried sending a new verification email, but it also failed.
- Browser Extensions: Disabled all extensions to rule out interference.
- Link Verification: Verified that the link in the email matches the URL in the browser; they are identical.
- Direct Link Pasting: Tried copying the link and pasting it directly into the browser—still failed.
