The reason it's not possible to use your own LLM today is because a big part of the logic lives within the LLM itself. Internally Emma is using a custom GPT that has been "trained" on the Infrahub documentation.

This design made sense pre MCP server, coding agents, skills etc .. probably not so much in 2026.
I think we need to redesign this project to work with any LLM and to leverage Infrahub MCP server.
