Relation between Airport and Airspace

Hey there,

I was wondering if there is any relationship between an airport and the corresponding CTR/TMZ/...
Reporting points do have (obviously) FKs to airports, but it seems to be not the case for airspaces.
Would it be possible to add such a relation?

This is definitely possible and would be a nice addition but due to the way the most data is currently imported into the system, this type of detailed information would be near impossible to add automatically because the source files would have to use openaip document IDs or have there own IDs to connect both entities. If more AIXM files are available in the future, this will be possible but currently the main data format for imports is openAIR which unfortunately lacks a lot of detail.

I personally wouldn't mind to create relations by hand for now, but the current model doesn't even give the possibility to do that.
I think a good compromise would be to update the model/schema to allow for relations and look into automation whenever feasible.

Yeah, I can definitely add a reference to the airspaces but as I said, there may be bulk imports from time to time. And in this case, work that happened in this regard simply gets lost. I hope this gets better when AIXM or better formats are widely available. Unfortunately this is a problem of openaip when it comes to updating data. For some countries we receive files from a single person. In this case it's possible to update by diff. In this case, specific changes are perceived. But if bulk updates happen, e.g. a contributor changes, then specific changes that are not able to be extracted from the source data will be lost. And since a lot of the source data is in openair format, mostly every change is removed.
