When uploading a badge (OB2 in this case, shouldn't matter though), the platform checks if the user is allowed to add it to the backpack using the registered emails.
However, it does not seem to be necessary to have the email verified.
Additional email addresses should only be fully usable if they are also verified.
Hence, the user should be notified that the email also needs to be verified, similar to the notification you get when the email is not yet added to your account.
