Many songs duration are not the ones expected

I'm an Linux user. First thing I have to say is that the AppImage didn't reproduce any kind of song because fakevideosink is not included in the app seems, so I had to move towards the flatpak and it worked.

Since that,

• I've seen a bunch of songs of 2+ minutes duration being played just for a few seconds, I'd say 29 seconds always (curious fixed amount).
• I've seen a few songs which last hours instead of typical 2-4 minutes range.
• A decent number of songs match the expected last

Why this discrepancy? Do you know if there's a fix that user can apply on his end without dev's new bugfixes? if not, well, here it comes the request I believe...thank you for the great software!!

This depends on the metadata and streaming sources you pick. Nothing I can change.

Thanks for your quick response. Well, that's possibly true, but if you want to hear something that could be seemed as a clear improvement at least in terms of the user experience is this: apply some certain logic where big-gap between theoretical and actual song durations are excluded. If you ask me I way prefer more having 3 reliable songs that a 300 messy playlist that in fact produces zero joy.
