New versions does not colour the marked square

In previous version the complete square was coloured se figure 1.

Now there is only a tiny line. The colour is barely distinguishable. see figure 2.

I understand the aim of this change which is appropriate for a calender with only one user. But it does not suite with our use case. We are an organisation with many parallell activitties taking place in different localities. Each local has its own colour - one calendar per local. After the change it has become almost impossible to identify which local that an event takes place - which is most important to us. With the new version the calendar has become almost useless - or at least very difficult to interpret. The thin lines makes it very difficult to see the local that is occupied. Especially if you use a week or month view.   I see that you have mentioned to add the possibility to choose the system for the layout. Please do this as fast as you can.
