Check Provisioning Status for Role

First of all, THANK YOU for creating this. As a Microsoft employee, it has been incredibly disrupting to have to use the Azure Portal for managing elevations. I am going to script the heck out of my workflow with this awesome tool!

Quick (and probably silly) question, is there an endpoint that we can utilize to check the status of a particular role? I could imagine an "activate and wait" feature that would send the activation request (right now we primarily work with "resource" based roles) and then poll some endpoint until the role is activated. I understand that waiting for propagation may be challenging since I'm not sure if there's an endpoint for querying that information?

Actually, maybe it's likely that the assignments are instantaneous and that the delay is the actual propagation?
