Just an FYI that the Github nightly release of dawn is back up and running -- it had been down for a bit and I think those are the tags used for the vcpkg port.

On the next update the following patches should be able to be removed as they are now upstreamed:
- 002-fix-uwp.patch
- 003-fix-d3d11.patch
- 007-fix-tint-null-only-writer.patch
