I would like to calculate the barotropic streamfunction from annual mean output of a GOSI9 (NEMO v4.0.4) eORCA025 run. I am using cdfpsi from CDFTOOLS_4.0, running on the Jasmin platform at CEDA in the UK.
If I execute the following command:
/gws/nopw/j04/nemo_vol4/apm/CDFTOOLS_4.0/bin/cdfpsi -vvl -mask -u /gws/nopw/j04/nemo_vol4/apm/cr416/annual/cr416o_1976_U.nc -v /gws/nopw/j04/nemo_vol4/apm/cr416/annual/cr416o_1976_V.nc -o /gws/nopw/j04/nemo_vol4/apm/cr416/moc/cr416o_1976_baropsi.nc
and try to plot the output in Ferret, the file contains no valid data. This is the case whether I use "-mask" or not, and whether I use "-vvl" or not. I have checked the two velocity files, and all is as it should be. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?
