Best place for ranked committee voting?

Currently there is a lot of interest in extending the approval model to allow other input types such as rankings or cardinal valuations. Where would be a good place to implement such algorithms? Maybe in a new library built with a structure similar to abcvoting?

Given the maturity of abcvoting, I think it is indeed best to create a new library for these models. But it would be nice if the code structure/logic is similar, in a way that makes them compatible for comparisons.
