Long Term Bug Report - Gaps / Seams in geometry / textures #173

Description

@mohawkmoe

In the hardware renderer of duckstation / swanstation, there seems to be tons of random errors rendered in graphics, along the seams of polygons and textures. Here are some photos to demonstrate what I mean:

This issue only happens in hardware mode, not software. Which backend does not seem to make a difference. Even at 2x resolution these errors can be really noticeable all over the place. I checked some backups I have from years ago and it seems that duckstation / swanstation have been doing this for many many years and either no one has wanted to fix it or it maybe cannot be fixed.

I noticed in standalone there is an option called "round upscale texture coordinates" that seems to improve but not totally fix the issue. It says in the tooltip that it can also cause graphical errors, so that doesn't seem like a great solution. I know it's nitpicky to focus on these small blemishes but it really does take me out of the immersion to see all these errors, that I know wouldn't be seen in Beetle PSX or on OG hardware. Would love to see this properly fixed, I would probably permanently switch to Duckstation if it was resolved.
