I often write on one device (laptop), close the device and open obsidian on other device later to review / revisit. In this case two devices are rarely online at same time.
devices sync fine when all are online simultaneously. However, I'm facing issues in my regular workflow - I do not find files/ last edits when I open the mobile after closing the laptop. (In many cases I'll create a new file and then close first device)
Is YAOS sync designed to work in these cases? Is last sync time visible somewhere? e.g. pushed changes : timestamp / fetched changes : timestamp so that I can be sure my changes are synced online and will be available on other device.
What you did
- Close obsidian on a mobile device.
- Open Obsidian on a PC/laptop and create a file with some content.
- Close Obsidian on the PC
- Open Obsidian on mobile and wait for sync (At this stage I'm clueless what happened, if sync passed/failed - no Idea)
