Sample prompts

Copy-paste into ChatGPT (with the Lineup connector) or Claude Code (the lineup MCP connected). You write a sentence; the LLM parses it into the tool's arguments and the view renders the pack inline. Contact details you mention (email, phone, company, website, LinkedIn, address) are encoded into each badge's QR — so scanning a badge saves the whole contact, not just a name.

1. The 60-second demo

Use lineup to generate a pack for tonight's Berlin Hack Night at Mindspace, 18:00, accent red — Marty as Host, Lea as Judge, and Tomás as Hacker.

The one-sentence pitch, live: default notionists style, red accent, three badges, RSVP QR, and an .ics.

2. Scan to save the full contact — the networking superpower

The strongest "why this matters" moment: someone scans a badge and your email, LinkedIn, website and company drop straight into their phone.

Use lineup for a founders & investors mixer at Factory Berlin, June 20 6:30pm, accent teal — Lena Bauer, Founder at Acme, lena@acme.io, linkedin.com/in/lenabauer, acme.io; Marco Rossi, Partner at NordVC, marco@nordvc.com, linkedin.com/in/marcorossi; Aisha Khan, Designer, aisha@studio.de, aisha.design.

Use lineup to make speaker cards for DevConf Berlin, Sept 24 9am at STATION Berlin, accent blue, notionists — Dr. Hannah Reyes (Keynote, Charité, hannah@charite.de, linkedin.com/in/hannahreyes), Yuki Tanaka (Security, SecLab, yuki@seclab.jp, seclab.jp), Marco Bianchi (Backend, Acme, marco@acme.io).

Use lineup for our field sales team cards, accent orange — Sam Ortiz, Account Exec at Northwind, sam@northwind.co, +49 30 9876543, linkedin.com/in/samortiz; Priya Nair, Sales Lead, priya@northwind.co, +49 151 2223344. Office at Torstraße 1, 10119 Berlin.

→ Generate one, tap a badge's QR to enlarge it, scan with your phone, and watch the contact card pop up fully filled in.

3. One tool, four looks — pick the vibe from the sentence

Use lineup to make a hackathon robot roster for Sunday at Mindspace, accent green — Aisha, Kenji, Marco, Priya, Zoe and Omar.

bottts (colorful robots) — the playful "trading card" vibe.

Use lineup to print conference access badges for DevConf Berlin Sept 24 9am at STATION Berlin, accent blue, check-in link https://devconf.berlin/check-in — Hannah Reyes (Speaker), Marco Bianchi (Attendee), Aisha Okonkwo (Crew), Liam Foster (Press), Yuki Tanaka (Sponsor), Elena Petrova (Volunteer).

notionists — Notion-style sketch, polished for IDs.

Use lineup to make anonymous voting cards for our board budget vote on June 18 5pm in Town Hall Room 2B, accent green, ballot link https://vote.example.org/budget-2026 — voters Nadia (Seat 1), Omar (Seat 2), Priya (Seat 3), Stefan (Seat 4), and Clara as Chair.

shapes — abstract geometric, perfect for ballots. (Toastmasters voting works the same way.)

4. Announce it — the part Luma can't

Use lineup to announce Friday's panel on AI in healthcare at Holzmarkt 6pm — accent purple, RSVP at https://lu.ma/ai-health, speakers Dr. Hannah Reyes, Marco Bianchi, and Priya Nair. Make it look professional, notionists style.

The badges double as speaker cards for the email / story / Slack post.

Use lineup to spin up rooftop drinks tomorrow 6:30pm at Klunkerkranich Neukölln, accent pink, RSVP https://lu.ma/rooftop-friday — invite the whole team.

5. Other shapes of the same primitive

Use lineup to make an after-party invite for Käthe & Theo's wedding, August 15 22:00 at Sisyphos Berlin, accent orange, RSVP https://kthe.party/yes — Käthe (Bride), Theo (Groom), Anna (Maid of Honor), Felix (Best Man), Greta (DJ), Paul (Photographer).

Use lineup to build a founders dinner card for Saturday 8pm at Mr. Susan Berlin, accent purple — Sara, Jonas and Mei.

Use lineup for a hackathon crew roster, robots style — Team Hydra for the 48-hour build: Yuki, Aisha, Marco, Omar, Sofia. Accent neon green.

6. Follow-ups that work inside the view

After generating, just say:

Switch the style to bottts.

Make the accent brighter — try electric blue.

Add Sofia as Photographer, sofia@lens.studio.

Show me the share link as a QR I can scan.

(The view persists state via useViewState, so these follow-ups stay in context.)

7. Minimal input — let the LLM fill the gaps

Use lineup. Coffee tomorrow 10am. Just me — Marty.

Confirms a tiny one-attendee event renders gracefully.

What success looks like

For each prompt you should see:

  • ✓ A Luma-style event card — accent gradient, "Add to calendar", RSVP QR (scan it to add the event to your calendar).
  • ✓ One identity badge per person: avatar in a halo, first name, role pill, vCard QR that saves name, role, email, LinkedIn, website and company.
  • ✓ A Style chip row (four options) — click flips every avatar in place.
  • ✓ A Share link + QR that opens the same pack as a public page — plus a Share button to send it. Nothing is stored; it all rides in the link.
  • Tap any QR to enlarge it for a room to scan; Download a badge as a 480×640 PNG.

If any of those is missing, the connector is on an old deploy — re-add it pointing at https://lineup-bf157e35.alpic.live/mcp.
