jsPsych.addNodeToEndOfTimeline for v8?

I don't see anywhere in the documentation where it advises what we should do in v8 where we previously would have used jsPsych.addNodeToEndOfTimeline. Am I right that .push() can only be used to modify the timeline pre-runtime?

ok wait I see that we can now modify during runtime? #3379

Did I miss something in the migration guide or documentation? I'd appreciate seeing an example of how to push during runtime.
