LICENSE file vs headers

The LICENSE file specifies that the jrl-cmakemodules are released under LGPL, unless otherwise stated. The headers in most files in the repository would point to the ordinary GPL license (e.g. base.cmake specifies GPLv3).

Was this intended? Which headers should (not) be updated/fixed?

The GPLv3 license is a mistake.
Normally the plan was to move towards a BSD-Clause 2 license, or alike, but it seems that we forgot...

@olivier-stasse @nim65s I am considering releasing this package under the PAL OS but I am hurting the license barrier here.
I realized that the GPL licensing is hard to go around in our case.

I know it is not super easy to change this license as a lot of people uses this code. But could we start a discussion thread here?

If needed I am willing to do the dirty work (go around the files and fix the licensing to whatever we decide).

@ahoarau is currently working on the v2 of this project. He did start from scratch, so we won't have licence issues anymore.
