403 error using web version

Making an authSync request using the web version gives a 403 error back from https://parkrun-proxy.x2.workers.dev/user_auth.php

Is there a work around for this or is this project dead?

Looks like it's not been updated anymore, and the only public forks aren't updated either. I don't understand how to properly get this working and haven't managed a workaround for my web app either
