Just a question about ia_mpeghd_lib.lib

First of all I wanna say thank you for this amazing tool, I've been using it for almost two years and it has always been successful.

I create this thread because I look for clarification about the ia_mpeghd_lib.lib

I only use the ia_mpeghd_testbench.exe for decoding the audio files, and I never understood for what ia_mpeghd_lib.lib serves or in what this can be used?
Do I need to keep that lib file? Or if I just use this tool for deconding files to WAV, can I delete the ia_mpeghd_lib.lib ?
Can you please provide a brief explanation of the use of ia_mpeghd_lib.lib and if I need to keep that file?

In my understanding ia_mpeghd_testbench is a sample executable that uses the ia_mpeghd_lib library to decode the files. Therefore the lib file is needed for the exe to funciton.
