Why is electron sandbox disabled?

I ran this through codex to understand how secure this branch of codex desktop for linux is". It came up with 4 vulnerabilities. The highest being that electron sandbox is disabled. Any reason for this?

I'll add that I think it's terrific the dev developed this port. One concern for the community is ensuring this port is secure, has a solid supply chain etc. Besides running through this myself has anyone else done an audit of the code?

Btw, I forked this with sandbox re-enabled. Required some working on permissions on the files once updated but otherwise seems solid.
