Consider moving to `uv` over `poetry`?

Curious if y'all would take a patch to convert the pkg mgmt system to uv?

I don't know if y'all would need me to make an argument for using it, it's kinda self-justifying and more then battle tested i'd claim at this point 😎

For me personally it makes installing the project for devving on nix(os) style platforms alot saner 🙏🏼

Definitely a good idea.

The original approach here was using standard setup.py and requirements.txt which was too fragile, so I converted to Poetry, but didn't go back and re-convert to uv recently since package manager format changes in pyproject can change some people's expectations and local workflows sometimes.

We can mark this for the next update. For current use, I have seen poetry and uv work well side-by-side (uv projects can use poetry projects as local dependencies without a full conversion of the pyproject between dependencies).
