About You
I am a senior at El Segundo High School in Los Angeles, California. I'm passionate about neuroscience and using technology to help underserved communities, especially those affected by neurodegenerative diseases. I have been coding since I was 12, starting with Python, Java, C++, and Dart programming.
About Your App
MemoryLane is an iOS app designed for Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers. It helps patients maintain cognitive function through daily memory exercises and personalized photo-based quizzes built from their own family pictures. For safety, it includes GPS tracking and WiFi-sensing fall detection that alerts caregivers in real time. It also features medication management with reminders and tracking so patients stay on schedule, plus family tools that let loved ones upload memories and check in remotely. I built it using Flutter and Dart for cross-platform support and Firebase for the backend and real-time data syncing.
