Case #718 has been closed, why?

I wanted to ask to what extent Case #718 in #1080 has actually been implemented, because from my perspective, there's still no save button when editing people. I don't see a button or anything similar in the top or bottom right corner like before. And even when I click the X at the top, I don't get a pop-up saying "otherwise it wasn't saved" or anything like that...

So a button like the one in the notes would be nice.

Because the issue description said

or simply add a checkmark to the right of the cross, just to ensure that it's 100% saved.

Now, when any changes are applied, there is a progress spinner in the top right, which changes into a checkmark for a couple of seconds, with a tooltip "Saving"/"Saved".

There will not be a save button because changes are applied whenever you make them.

Ah, I see, everything's clear. Just a quick question: when I edit notes, there's a save button in the top right corner. Does it stay there, or is it removed for consistency?

This is the exception proving the rule. When you edit a note, we don't save on every keystroke as that would be inefficient, so we do need a save button.
