What's broken
The "Set up worktree scripts" callout opens Project settings, but Project settings says:
"We don't have an editable copy of this project on any connected host."
This happens even though the project is open in Paseo Desktop on the same connected host, and the repository is registered locally as a git project with a local_checkout workspace.
Expected: Project settings should open for the local checkout so I can configure paseo.json / worktree setup scripts.
Actual: Project settings shows the no editable copy message.
Steps to reproduce
- install Paseo Desktop and open.
- Open a local git repository in Paseo Desktop.
- Ensure the sidebar shows the "Set up worktree scripts" callout.
- Click "Open project settings".
The problem stopped occurring after I closed and reopened Paseo.
Where did this happen
Desktop (Electron)
Paseo version
0.1.99
OS version
macOS 15.7.7
Agent provider
Not relevant
Provider configuration
No response
Logs
The issue stopped reproducing after I repeatedly deleted and restarted the process because the logs contained repository names that should not have been exposed.
