ESPHome Component Feature requests

Thanks dtill for this component, will give it a try immediately.

One small suggestion is regarding whether it would also be possible to add "event" entities.

That would be a better fit for the (currently used) binary_sensor triggers and as far as i understood HA and esphome are going into that direction as well. (not suggesting to replace them just to also allow to add event components.)
