"Opt in" to accept our privacy policy

• Check box to accept the privacy policy (if the checkbox is not checked we can't store their email, therefore the checkbox is mandatory in order to advance through the form)
• We have to store every sign up in a database, storing the information provided, the date and a copy of the privacy policy they've just accepted (a link its not valid).
• This database has to be synced with the newsletter tool we are using, so in case they unsubscribe we don't contact them again and we have a record of their desubscription

I'm reopening the issue as it seems that we are not storing the privacy policy with every user sign up.

We've decided to store it in a Google Sheet.
