Team Elimination only works for 2 people.

When a third person join the room it doesn't show the options to join the game, the person can only see it's character and the 2 players playing in the map.

Can confirm this is an issue. Seems only Team Elimination is affected.

Just for clarification: Are you trying to join while the match countdown is ongoing or before any player has clicked a "Join " button?

I only tried while the match was ongoing, I will try the other way when possible.

I may have found the issue. In Team Elimination, when a player joins mid-round (after the 5 second countdown), they are supposed to be put into spectator mode while this round is ongoing, only to be spawned as an actual player in the next round.

However, when the server "perpares" your avatar, the spectator state is removed and the game client fails to respawn you because you're not (yet) in the list of active players, which results in that frozen state.

I've tried to mitigate that behavior in d3efcdd and now the game correctly puts you in spectator mode as intended (I might add a 10-15 second grace period after the round started so you're still able to join) and correctly respawns you when the next round starts.

I've yet to work out avatars having their weapons lowered when joining mid-round, which is only reset when a new round has started.
