Summary

In a packaged Shipping playtest, walls and doors can show seams or see-through clipping when the player gets close to them in City17 apartment entrances.

Confirmed spots

  • Dark-brown door up close.
  • Entrance 1 first landing, pressing near the wall.
  • Upper landing apartment door with electrical panel box.
  • Same symptom independently reported by a second tester.

Expected result

Walls, doors, and modular panel joints should remain visually closed from normal player movement and camera positions.

Actual result

The player can see through doors/walls or visible seams appear near modular joints.

Likely area

  • Weak collision allowing camera/capsule to reach surfaces
  • Modular wall-panel alignment
  • Door/wall mesh seams
  • Same root area as stairwell collision fall-through

Acceptance criteria

  • Confirmed spots no longer show voids or seams during close movement.
  • Root cause is classified as collision, geometric gap, z-fighting, or backface clipping.
  • Fix does not rely on broad two-sided materials unless specifically justified.
