EarnApp suspends connection from linux

The EarnApp teams has recently infromed users that Linux connections to their servers have been temporarily disabled. Is there any solution for this.

Hi,
I can’t confirm that, since there are many factors that EarnApp considers. As long as your IP is classified as residential, you generally shouldn’t have issues—unless you’re running too many Docker container instances. With a multi-IP setup and 10 EarnApp instances, there were no issues with Farhan Fazal (main build).

Also, as you may know, Israel is known for advanced surveillance technologies like Pegasus. Installing apps directly on the host without verification can be risky, which is why I prefer running them in Docker for better isolation. Always exercise caution.

It’s also worth noting that the company behind Pegasus, NSO Group, is currently facing multiple ongoing legal challenges. Meta Platforms (via WhatsApp) filed a lawsuit alleging that Pegasus was used to exploit vulnerabilities and target users, and courts in the U.S. have already ruled against NSO on aspects of unauthorized access. Apple also initiated legal action over alleged targeting of its users.

Beyond the U.S., there are ongoing investigations and cases in Europe related to spyware use against journalists, activists, and government officials etc. These developments highlight that even tools marketed for legitimate surveillance purposes can be misused, sometimes through sophisticated “zero-click” exploits that don’t require user interaction.

What is the difference between the madereddy/earnapp:latest image and the fazalfarhan01/earnapp lite image? Which one is better? @engageub

Hi,

The madereddy/earnapp:latest image runs a newer version of EarnApp compared to the fazalfarhan01/earnapp lite image. In the latest version, logs are encrypted, whereas the older version provides logs in plain text.

Both images use official EarnApp releases. However, EarnApp now calculates earnings based on uptime rather than bandwidth, so it’s important to keep your devices online.

You can try both versions and compare their performance. If you notice the device going offline with the older version, consider switching to the latest one.
