This project is currently in minimal maintenance mode. I try to keep up with the Angular releases and to fix bugs, but major feature development is currently not in my scope.
The reason why I am here is that my former employer decided to include this very broken and malfunctioning lib into a product we were selling. And obviously that required me to fix many things.
I have ceased working for that company October 2022 and I am not seeing that I will invest too much into this project in the future.
The number of bugs is amazing and the quality of the code is quite challenging, despite some improvements that we managed to get in. It would be a full time job cleaning the code base for new major releases that have good quality. Plus there are no automated tests here, which is a big downer.
That said, this is - to the best of my knowledge - the most recent fork with the most crucial bug fixes available in the NPM registry. Therefore, there might be other interested people who want to continue the maintenance of this library. In my opinion this should be preferred to creating just another fork.
So if you are interested, please speak up and hand in pull requests.
