Should the link list be limited to resources in the current context?

Is it worth trying to pull in the MODX resource tree?

how about an option to pass in to control that? I know that cross-context linking can be useful as I've needed to do it in the past, then again restricting it is more likely to be the 90% case. I'll add this in.

I'm wondering if we can't change the list plugin to, instead of needing a JS array full with all data, query to a processor when typing (with configurable # of characters before a query) and display that instead of all resources.. it is ExtJS, so should be doable right?

I think that would also solve this issue as it could then simply search anything and not increase the initial loading time by loads when you just need one out of 5000 resources..

That would be way better, I didn't do that originally because I didn't look much into how the data repository works in the original plugin. will have to read up on that.
