Hi! Thank you for your bug report.

By itself, the output of the compiler/make is generally not enough for someone to understand what is going on. You also need to provide details such as what version of the (C-Reduce) software you are using, how you configured the software, the versions of the compiler(s) and OS you are using, the command you actually typed, etc.

That said, I expect the problem you are encountering is that you are trying to compile C-Reduce against a version of LLVM that (the master branch of/the most recent release of) C-Reduce does not (yet) support. Updating the supported version of LLVM has been on the to-do list for a long time. In the meantime, you might try seeing if the patch in #285 works for you.

Please check the version of LLVM that you are trying to link against. If you are trying to link against LLVM 19, please see if the patch in #285 works for you.

@eeide It does fix the build against LLVM 19. Will it be merged anytime soon?

Hi! I would like to find some time during the summer to accomplish "deferred maintenance" on C-Reduce, including making the master branch build with current LLVM.
