test(image): update image ordering test

Task Description

#1125 was fixed some time ago and then the behavior changed, yet no tests failed.
This needs to be fixed so it won't happen again.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Test is created (or existing one is updated)
• The test locks in the expected behavior.
