mac intel file does not open

Hi! i'm not a coder and i'm trying to get the bridge file to install on my old intel mac. right clicking and hitting open does not work. how else can i install the bridge?

Same issue. Seems the latest mac-intel package (open-wemo-0.4.1-mac-intel) downloads as a Linux script (e.g. no extension like .dmg) so Mac does not no what to do with it. I tried to run it as a script as well as add an extension, but get an error...

“open-wemo-0.4.1-mac-intel” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash".

My Workaround: Spin up a Linux VM, download, install and run the open-wemo Linux package.
