Hi, due to the size of the changes and underlying architecture changes, it was not possible to keep the old accounts for the new version from v1 to v2. If you install v1 you must disable auto update from Microsoft Store otherwise it might be updated automatically as well. I don't recommend going to v1 as well personally because v2 has hundreds of bugfixes and improvements. v2 also has the migration path completed, meaning that your accounts and settings will never be removed again. |

I was happily using Winomail v1.10.7.0 (which was installed locally using an .exe) and it suddenly updated to v2 by itself. It listed itself as a calendar (and added a new calendar Start Menu icon) and prevented my existing Winomail from being run.
So I went through the setup for the calendar choosing a local account. When it completed setup, I tried to run Winomail and it opened the new version (so my v1.x was gone) and all of my original settings were gone too. There was no email account at all, and every other setting that I had configured was lost and replaced with defaults.
I have the original installer file for v1.10.7.0 so I have uninstalled Winomail v2 and want to reinstall v1.
How can I prevent this from auto updating to v2 and losing all of my settings again?
