Consider updating the bots words matter logic to address recent changes at GitHub

GitHub has decided to go with `main` as the primary branch on all new repos starting in Oct. We should consider addressing if teams should a) rename to `master` for consistency; b) rename all their repos to use `main` for consistency; or c) just keep new repos as `main` and don't worry about the past.
