Non-i18n string

The following string is untranslatable to Hebrew (days ago):

We need the parameter to translate this and possibly also a proper plural forms, I looked at different Vala projects with Gettext and I think this implementation does not allow using parameters, I'd love to help changing it if needed.

Is this a problem where the device is one day old i.e. "1 days ago" ? Is this a problem translating this to hebrew ? Just asking as other translators have translated this i.e. German

It is possible to translate this to many languages but in Hebrew and several others we're using something like "before 1 day" so it's impossible to translate without the parameter.
