Search stopped working on Windows 10

Hi!

Splicedd has stopped working properly on Windows 10. It used to work correctly before and was a really useful tool for browsing and searching Splice samples.

Environment

• OS: Windows 10
• Splicedd version: v1.1.1
• Installation method: tried both .exe and .msi installers

What happened

After installing/reinstalling Splicedd, the app launches, but search no longer returns any results. Whatever I type into the search field, nothing is found.

Expected behavior

Search should return sample results as it did before.

Actual behavior

The installed version opens, but the search function appears to be broken. No samples are found.

What I already tried

• Reinstalled using the .exe installer
• Reinstalled using the .msi installer
• Tried launching the installed version again after reinstalling

The result is the same in all cases: search does not work.

Additional note

This was a super useful tool before, so it would be great to know whether this is a known issue, maybe related to Windows 10, Splice API changes, or something else.

I'm on Windows 11 and have the exact same problem. It worked fine for a day or so and now I get the same message when I search for something. Weirdly enough I am also having the exact same problem with another similar tool called Splicerr. It worked fine for about a day and now every search comes up with an error. In fact, that was why I installed this one, but it's ended up having the exact same problem. Reinstalling hasn't worked for either tool. It makes me wonder if it's something Splice can detect and block? I'm not really sure.

Splice added Cloudflare Bot Management to their GraphQL API endpoint (surfaces-graphql.splice.com/graphql). Requests from Tauri's built-in HTTP module were blocked with HTTP 403 because Cloudflare detects non-browser TLS/HTTP2 fingerprints. The fix routes the GraphQL request through the app's WebView2 instance (native Chromium), which passes Cloudflare's checks transparently.

Big thanks to @ascpixi for creating this awesome tool — it's exactly what was missing for working with Splice samples outside the official app.
