VredDTrackMPlugin

VRED-plugin for tests of and as an example for VredDTrackModule usage.

Installation

  • Download and install this plugin:
    • Find the VRED ScriptPlugins directory, e.g. C:\Users\<User>\Documents\Autodesk\VRED-<version>\ScriptPlugins
    • Create a subdirectory VredDTrackMPlugin
    • Copy the files of this repository to VredDTrackMPlugin
  • Download and install VredDTrackModule

Usage

  • Setup and configure the DTrack tracking system. Set the target UDP port e.g. to 5000 (see the DTrack User Manual for details).
  • In VRED open the entry Scripts in the menu, select VredDTrackMPlugin
  • In the plugin UI
    • set the receive port to the value configured in DTrack (e.g. 5000)
    • click Start. Models for body 6d, flystick 6df2 and hand gl data are automatically created, and move corresponding to the tracked DTrack devices.
