I got another "Something went wrong | Try reloading the page" error today.

Bug Description:

Opening the Tagify app yields a "Something went wrong | Try reloading the page" error

Environment:

Tagify version: 2.2.0
Operating system: Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon

Context:

The error fired immediately after executing the Bulk Tag command
I was using Bulk Tag to apply two tags to all tracks in an album (in the vanilla Spotify Album view screen)

Other:

I've also had an issue since updating to 2.2.0 with getting tagged tracks to display in the bottom section of the Tagify app

When trying to filter my tagged tracks by selecting one or more tags, no tracks were ever returned and the track count would always display "0/x"
This prevented playback of the filter results, Smart Playlist creation, etc.
I have a large tag library (>5,000 tracks tagged). Not sure if that's relevant.
I saw a similar issue pop up here "Play (all)" just plays one track instead of all that meet the defined criteria #25

I can't describe in detail without visibility, so apologies for the vagueness. Thought I would mention while I'm here.

Hey - thanks for the detailed write up!
I've been working on Tagify 2.3.0, which completely changes how tag data is stored, which should fix many bugs and improve performance.
I'll send you the beta version, and let me know if that solves it!
I'm at the gym so I'll be away from my laptop for a bit. Will reply soon with a download link :)

Hey, really sorry for the delay.
tagify-v2.3.0-beta.1.zip
Backup your tag data before you install this!
Unzip this, and replace your 'tagify' folder at ~/.config/spicetify/CustomApps (Mac) or %appdata%\spicetify\CustomApps\ (Windows) with the 'tagify' folder from this zip.
Then after running spicetify apply in your terminal, you should be good to go.

Let me know if this solves this!

Thanks! Doesn't seem to fix. I am on Linux (Mint) if that's any concern.

I was prompted for the in-app Tagify storage upgrade, I clicked "okay" or whatever to proceed
I saw the progress reading ~ "processing x/y tracks"
I stepped away as there were a lot of tracks to process
I received the Storage Upgrade Incomplete error when I got back

Continue Anyway allows me to navigate Tagify, but my tag data is gone
After clicking Continue Anyway, if I import my tag data via the regular Import function (upload icon in top left of Tagify app), no data is imported

If I click Retry Upgrade, the Storage Upgrade Incomplete dialog box remains open but I can see my tags have been imported in the background
If I click Continue Anyway after Retry Upgrade, I can temporarily access all normal Tagify functionality as long as I don't navigate away from the page (although album art thumbnails won't load and all tracks and artists display as "Unknown Track/Unknown Artist" on all but the current track
After navigating away from the Tagify app page, and then navigating back, all tag data appears missing and the Storage Upgrade Incomplete dialog box reappears
