"Play (all)" just plays one track instead of all that meet the defined criteria

Bug: When you make a selection, you can hit Play (white arrow in blue rectangle). When you hover over it, it says 'play all x tracks'. And when you hit that Play button, you get a pop-up which says: 'play all x tracks'. So, that's the expected behaviour. However, observed behaviour is that just the first track of those that meet the criteria is played (nothing further in the queue).
Tagify version 2.1.0
OS: Windows 11
Additional info: I don't always feel the need to create a playlist based on the criteria I defined, I just want to listen to the tracks right there and then.

Hmm yes, that's exactly why I implemented the "Play All" button in the first place - to listen to your filtered tracks right there and then.
It should be playing all tracks that satisfy that criteria, as you've mentioned.
I notice you're on version 2.1.0. Latest version is 2.1.2, maybe an update would solve this.

I'll be looking into this problem tonight. I'll let you know what I find.

Unfortunately you're not the only one with this problem right now...
This seems to be something across Spotify, not specifically Tagify.
I'll be doing research to see what can be done on my end.

Hi Alex! Thx for your reply. Maybe the following is also a consequence of the trouble across Spotify. Issue: Tagify selection is no longer accurate/complete. Example: I select one and only one tag ("morning"). It should return 17 matches. Instead it says: "no tracks match your filters". Either something is wrong, or I am doing something wrong. I attach two screenshots and the info on Tagify/Spicetify/Spotify version. Have a nice day!

Hi Alex! Happy New Year! Do you happen to have any news on the above issue? I can still tag as much as I want, but making selections or playlists has become impossible... so, I am wondering whether the issue can be fixed. Maybe Spotify has somehow, deliberately or not, made it impossible for Tagify/Spicetify to work properly? Anyhow, let me know when you find the time, because to keep on tagging does not make any sense unless there will be a solution for this problem in the foreseeable future. Best Wishes! SwA.
PS: I know from Reddit posts of the last couple of weeks, and from my own experience, that some other Spicetify apps stopped working too. I even seem to experience that when I shuffle my Liked tracks, Spotify keeps on serving me the same 100 or so from the 3000+

Hey! Don't worry, there's a fix.
Bad timing here - I left on vacation when this problem came up.

Hi Alex! Unfortunately, it does not seem to be solved over here. I installed the new release, restarted Spotify, checked whether the latest Tagify/Spicetify version was running (it is), but I still can't make any selections or new playlists. Whatever filter I use, the answer is: 'No tracks match your filters'. Unless I am doing something really stupid, I guess there still is some kind of problem somewhere. Cfr:

Dang. Unfortunately I'm away from my computer all day, so can't debug too deeply right now.

Try this:
Open DevTools: right click anywhere on screen and click "Inspect". If this isn't an option when right clicking, open up your terminal and enter

spicetify enable-devtools

Then try again.

Go to the "Application" tab on the top.
One of the rows on the left should show "localStorage". Click that.
There should be an entry with the word "cache" in it... I'm forgetting exactly.
So something similar "tagify:trackCache".
Right click on this and delete it.

Restart Spotify/Tagify and your tracks should begin loading.
You have a lot of tagged tracks so this may take a while.

Let me know if this solves it.
If so, I'll make another release tonight that will do this automatically for all future users.

Sorry for the inconvenience, this sucks for everybody. Will put safeguards so problems like this don't happen again.

Does this happen for every filter/star rating?
Or do some songs appear depending on the filter?
