Automate sending webmentions

Currently I'm only able to trigger sending webmentions by using another service and entering in my page URL. I'd like to have webmentions sent out automatically when creating or updating a page. I also don't want to spam sites with multiple mentions so some kind of caching or page change mechanism should not send all mentions on every site on every build.

Nice to haves

• Integrated into the netilfy build but hopefully not too coupled to a technology choice (like netlify/11ty)
• Option to skip certain domains (e.g. ebird which I reference a lot)

This was done using a combination of webmention.app and an IFTTT trigger as documented by webmention.app

By using a new post trigger, this avoids potential issues with netilfy builds being reset. It does not support re-sending webmentions on edit or delete.

Reopening as webmention.app went down. It also doesn't work with the bridgy-fed syndication url. Can use the netlify-plugin-webmentions package instead. It uses the same code as webmention.app so has the same limitations but runs as part of the build rather than separately.

Desired improvements

• Recognize u-bridgy-fed URLs, and all links in an h-entry more broadly
• Support h-recipe as well as h-entry
• Skip ebird URLs (since I use a lot of them)
• Support a --since parameter which checks the feed file for a created or updated date
  • This would be a stretch goal
  • See Check pre-build feed to determine how many posts to update CodeFoodPixels/netlify-plugin-webmentions#4 for a potential integration as part of the plugin

Sending syndication mentions is currently broken because that's not in the atom feed. I'd really like to change the webmention sender to pull from the post rather than the atom feed. The atom feed could just be where the links come from.
