CATS is no longer being updated, if you're using a newer version of blender, check the post named "READ FIRST BEFORE YOU POST AN ISSUE"

not sure if yall still need this, i updated it to fix an issue with the plugin not loading. Working for me currently from my PR:

someone else also updated it but I just made it so it's still categorizable
