Cancel without Reset UI?

Would it be possible to get a cancel button without any reset of the settings?

Just use save settings Choose all the settings you want then click "Settings" go in "Downloads" tab click save settings and when you want to use them click load settings you can save multiple settings. And when we click cancel is it important to soft reset the ui to clean memory

I can hear the need to avoid any app crashes. However, that method doesn't really save any clicks, time or energy. It's nearly the same amount of effort to just set the settings again. So no value add unless you're maintaining many settings and switch them often.

My use cases:

Loading settings:
click settings , click downloads , click load button, multiple clicks to search for saved settings file, click OK, copy past url, change DL directory, click start download.
10+ actions

Resetting UI:
paste url, change dl directory, add skip filter txt, click videos, change scope to files, click for no subfolder, click for renaming mode, click 5-6 times to get to the custom naming, double check everything, click start download.
10+ actions (and not interacting with the file explorer etc.)

No reset when canceling download:
Copy paste URL, change DL directory, click start download
3 actions.
