Jenkins Status

As a teacher I want children to be able to login to shared devices using a QR code badge, roll number, or photo selection so that young children can quickly login to a shared device.

Notes:
a) there should be a setting (in settings) where a device can be marked as a shared school device - e.g. put it into shared school device mode.
b) When device is in shared school device mode - the start screen changes to a list of classes, then select a class to get list of students. At the bottom of the screen will be a teacher login button (goes to the normal get started screen) and scan qr code button.
c) The admin can set (school-wide) requirements for login: either not allowed at all, require roll number, or "no further questions" (student just taps their name as per Chimple etc)

@akshattak the prototype is missing few components:

• Screen / modifications to manage account to assign a given QR code badge to a particular student (in bulk or individually)
• Settings: Option to allow (or not) students to login by selecting from class list (if a school is using QR code badges, then they could leave this off).
• Settings: Option to require students who select themselves to enter their roll number.

In manage account: there should be an option only if the account is a student account (under password) -:

This should go to a QR code scanning screen. Once a code is scanned: that code should be the login QR code for that account.

Implementation note:

If shared school device mode is enabled: then the acknowledgement screen should go to the SharedSchoolDeviceLogin screen (which would normally show a list of classes).

Assign badge to student:

• Create new model/entity (with endpoint): PersonBadge with base fields (uid, modified time, stored time, etc), badge Url, and studentPersonUid
• Badge will be a new credential type (similar to how password/passkey is handled).
