Hello,

a very good enhanced should be to automate the Update Path.

for example if the device has Software 6.5.x

you have to migrate to 6.7.1 - mini then to 6.7.1 - lite
then to 7.2.0 - mini then to 7.2.0 - lite
and so on
to 9.1.0 - mini then to 9.1.0 - lite
9.1.3 - mini then to 9.1.3 FULL

(some device work without the "mini", but its the way working for all)

It would be nice if this will be done automaticaly or minimum give an message that an upadte without this steps
will make the device not avaible over wifi.

Triage note: this is still a valid enhancement. The current update flow can handle minimal firmware when required and checks versions, but it does not model or automate the kind of legacy multi-hop upgrade path described here across several intermediate releases. Keeping this open with medium priority.
