Profile auto switch for application doesn't switch for fan speed.

I don't know if this is intentional or not as the profile auto switch option is in the lights section of the settings (the light options don't appear for me anyway). I created an extra profile that has the fans running full blast and made a shortcut to change the power plan from Balanced to Ultimate Performance and linked it to the profile i made. The profile works (most times) and switches the power plan correctly. Now i set Valorant in the Applications section to test it out but it doesn't seem to work. The fan speed and power plan don't change. Is this intentional or am i being an idiot?

Well... Application-based switch acting as a running app detection among other running processes. The common mistake you add launcher instead of the game itself, so it quits soon after start - please check it.

.... As an easy override, do not use app name here, but add game folder instead - in this case, any .exe from it will trigger profile switch.

I added the .exe that runs the game itself, not the launcher. Although i found the profile auto switch to be broken either way. With no auto switching for games i had to do it through the tray icon but while auto switch was on it would go from the profile i have to the default one instantly. I don't understand how you set it up to work but i don't mind manually switching the profile everytime i'm playing anyway as thats what i was already doing with AWCC lol. Maybe the problem is the way Valorant works since it wouldn't work there either for some reason after reinstalling it. Anyways... that's fine but if you wan't to investigate why the auto switch isn't working further you can shoot me a reply.

I have a quite complex profiles tree, so i use auto switch all the time. There is some interesting side effects, but, in general, it should work correctly.
You can share me your configuration (using alienfx-config backup command) to check what you set exactly.

PS: There are keyboard shortcuts for profile selection - CTRL+Shift+n (n - 0..9, 0 is always default profile).

Where do i run the command? It doesn't seem to be installed globally.
Also tried the folder and still didn't switch the profile when the game opened neither did the keyboard commands work. T_T

Looks like.

Command should run from CMD inside tools folder. Doesn't require Administrator.
Keyboard shortcuts can be overridden in case you have "auto switch" active (it switches to other, then back).

Anyway, let me check you settings.
