Error: Cannot retrieve client id.

I get this error every time I try and run sc-syncer, any idea why?

yes this is a known issue (but not reported, my bad..), I have not found a workaround yet :(.
This client-id could be retrieved from soundcloud website, but they seems to have changed their home page and this client-id is no longer provided in HTML source code.

You can use --client-id option to specify your client id.

To find user-id/client-id, just

• connect on soundcloud.com,
• visit https://soundcloud.com/you/likes with network analyser open
• find url that seems like that: https://api-v2.soundcloud.com/users/xxxxx/track_likes?client_id=yyyyyy&limit=24&offset=0&linked_partitioning=1&app_version=zzzz
• put xxxxx after the -u
• put yyyyyyafter the -c

@Kcchouette works for me as well. Have you found a solution for sc-tagger? I'm getting the same error, and there is no arg for client-id nor user.
