The UPI feature is not yet available in the Android Buy SDK.

Hi team,

We are integrating Shopify checkout in our mobile applications using the Checkout Sheet Kit and the Mobile Buy SDK.

We noticed that UPI (Unified Payments Interface) is not available in the Android checkout flow.

However:

• UPI works correctly in Web checkout
• UPI is also available in iOS Checkout with Sheet Kit

This issue appears to be specific to Android.

Environment

Checkout integration: Checkout Sheet Kit (Android latest version 3.5.3)

Version: 2025-07 (latest)

Android
Mobile Buy SDK version: 2025-04 (latest)

Issue

When using the Android Mobile Buy SDK with Checkout Sheet Kit, UPI does not appear as a payment option in the checkout, even though it is enabled and visible in web checkout and iOS.

This may have something to do with Razorpay's handling of WebViews for Android. Our team will reach out to Razorpay to gain some clarity. Stay tuned.
