Problem Description

This is a book-keeping issue to track the migration from the ROS 1 to ROS 2 pipeline by integrating it with blue and other independent drivers.

Feature Description

The following changes are within the scope of this issue:

• Change the Docker target environment to ROS 2 Jazzy and Gazebo Harmonic.
• Restructure the package and update scripts to support ROS 2.
• Remove redundant code and integrate with blue.
• Replace the custom implementation of hydrodynamic calculations with the hydrodynamics package.
• Integrate with sensor drivers such as oculus_sonar_driver and dvl_a50_driver.
• Add support for auv_controllers, marine_msgs, and mobile_to_maritime.
• Transition localization to marine_localization.
