Status of bite on platform not updated after eatllocal submit.

Eatlocal indicates "Congrats, you passed this Bite!" after submit, the points seem to be rewarded but the bite status checkmark is missing/not there.

Status can be updated by using run tests from the browser on the platform.

Perhaps this is behaviour is as intended?

Certainly not the intended behavior. :)

I was able to recreate the issue.

Code is posted to the platform, points are rewarded, but no checkmark. If I manually click "Run Tests" after submitting with eatlocal, the Congrats banner appears, and the check mark shows up on the exercises list.

Alternatively, logging out and logging back in also shows the checkmark without having to click the "Run tests" button.

This seems like a platform session / caching issue.

ok I see, eatlocal != other browser open? cache refresh happens upon login or scoring a bite (first or nth time), so that matches these symptoms
so do we need an extra flag to indicate that eatlocal was run to do another cache refresh?

so this is because of 2 different sessions and cache not updating between them, I still wonder how we can force the main session to force cache refresh when eatlocal is used in the other session, some sort of trigger or signal?
