3. This is not a report about my app not working as expected

Problem

As issues/390#issuecomment-2101972409 corroborates, server-side IMAP (and/or JMAP) support remains unavailable, despite it being required to utilise any external client. This renders using ProtonMail alongside alternative e-mail providers painful, ^{1 2} because the first-party client can fundamentally never provide all of the functionality that third-party clients can, and do. ³
